Can someone advise under what conditions these tables are populated? I
gather from the documentation that if you set the 'Render this report from
an execution snapshot ' Properties of a report through ReportManager via a
schedule or whatever then the snapshot will be created as per the schedule
and stored.
I don't believe there are any snapshot schedules on the RS server, and the
'History' and 'Schedule' table is empty but the 'SnapshotData' and
'ChunkData' tables are accumulating daily.
I think they should be empty; nothing in BOL about, any insight on these
table contents?Snapshots are generated for every report rendering. Depending on the
context the report was rendered in the snapshot may only be available to
certain users under certain conditions. The RS Temp db and the catalog DB
both store snapshots depending on how "permanent" the snapshot is.
